Saturday, August 11 @ 5:00 pm – WAR ZONE This legendary 1998 Feminist doc turns the tables and the cameras on men who ogle, catcall and harass women walking on public streets. There will be a Q & A after the film on Saturday. $10.

Sunday, August 12 @ 5:00 pm – PLAYER HATING: A LOVE STORY A 2011 documentary about hip hop artist Half-a-Mill and his Brooklyn crew as they struggle to escape the poverty and racism in the BK housing projects through music. There will be a Q & A after the film on Sunday. $10.

Maggie’s Three Movies in Three Cities!

We’re excited to announce Sick to Death! has upcoming screenings in Philadelphia, New York and New Orleans. Maggie will be in attendance and will screen two of her other acclaimed social-issue documentaries while touring with the film.

The Women’s Film Festival in Philadelphia will host Maggie a couple screening in mid-July

Spectacle Theater in Williamsburg Brooklyn will present a retrospective of Maggie’s three features, War ZonePlayer Hating: A Love Story, and Sick to Death!
